This book is all about Siddhartha that
is trying to find himself and his spirit. I think that this can relate to Freedom
at Midnight because this might have to do with the religions that are in
the book. I think that he goes to his own pleasures so he can find his self and
so he can better enlighten himself. This book makes sense with me because he is
only trying to make himself a better person but to do that he must see who he
is in the first time. I think I know why he is done with the teachers because
he wants to find it himself. Something that I do not understand is why he is
seeing the world in this light now. He has been alive for a time now so he should
know how the world is but he does not because he is just finding out about the
world now. I think that this book might get better after a while. I also agree
with you and I think that it will take him till he is pretty old to find Nirvana.
Compared to earlier in the book he seems farther away from nirvana and that is different
to me. I don’t know why he is like this now. What do you think Mark?
