Mark Neumann - Fourth Post

I think that Siddhartha's son was a lesson for Siddhartha of how he was when he was young besides the fact that Siddhartha's son bahaved really badly compared to how Siddhartha behaved when he was young. At first I think that Siddhartha was similar to his dad in how he didn't want his son to leave because he believed that his son should stay with him like his own dad wanted him to stay with him. Then when his son leaves him he finally realizes that he should leave him even though its hard for him to cope with him leaving. The ending of this book is a bit strange in that both Siddhartha and his friend Govinda find nirvana. The strange thing is that all Govinda had to do to get nirvana was to kiss Siddhartha on the forehead. This book was pretty strange all together, but was pretty interesting nonetheless.
