Mark Neumann - Fifth Post

I really enjoyed reading previous books by Kurt Vonnegut and this seems to be another book that I am going to enjoy. This book like many of Vonnegut's books is pretty strange. It seems to take place during WWII at first, but then quickly switches to the 60's with someone named Billy Pilgrim who says that he has been abducted by aliens and is somehow traveling back and forth through time. At this point the book starts to confuse me a little bit because I'm not too sure of exactly what is going on. In the first place this book was being written about the Dresden bombing during WWII, but then quickly changes to a story about time travel and aliens that live on some sort of planet called Tralfamadore which is pretty strange. Either way I am enjoying this book very much. So Zakaria how do you like the book so far and is it as confusing to you as it is to me? Also I'm not sure what happened with the sudden change of setting and character, it seems as if Vonnegut was talking about himself writing the book in the first chapter then quickly changes in chapter 2 about someone else.
